SPORTS STARS SPARKLE AT GLITTERING LAUNCH

International sports stars, world cup winners, household television names and the cream of Marbella’s glittering social scene were out in force at the launch of Buddha Beach last week, the most eagerly awaited event of Marbella’s sensational summer lifestyle.

Camera crews, including Sky Sports, photographers and Press were kept busy interviewing the sports stars in the VIP area, including international footballers David Bentley and Shay Given, Ian Harte as well as Rugby World Cup winner Lewis Moody and Leicester team mate Leon Lloyd. Sky Sports presenters Jeff Stelling and Clare Tomlinson were also there to enjoy Buddha Beach’s unique atmosphere and the invitation only event was certainly a star studded evening.

Guests enjoyed sipping the free flowing Laurent-Perrier champagne by the pool as the sun set, while models lounged in the rock pool Jacuzzi, and there was plenty of other entertainment to catch the eye, including Thai dancers, African tribal fire breathers, jugglers, live percussion and a DJ playing some of the coolest sounds around.

An exclusive new concept on the coast, Buddha Beach is Marbella’s first boutique beach club. Located only a short walk from the jet set marina of Puerto Banus, Buddha Beach offers clients a relaxed, bespoke location to enjoy.
